About Melissa Nava

My name is Melissa Nava. I am a multi-tier .NET online application systems programmer recently moved to the Fort Worth, Texas area. My experience includes a wide range of work with a web-centric focus in programming. I have designed and developed custom web pages and web sites to designing, testing and implementing full service dynamic state full multi-page application systems that have live real-time data interaction with databases. In Alaska I was the lead programmer for the Permanent Fund Dividend Division overseeing some of the State of Alaska's largest, most complex online application systems utilized by over 75% of the residents of Alaska.

I build application systems that give users unique experiences with dynamic user content. I have been building websites since the year 2000.

2006 - Associates in Computer Information Systems emphasizing in Computer Programming.
2009 - CIS Bachelors in Technical Management

I believe that education is an important asset to have in a person's life and that knowledge really is power. I have continued to promote and advance my education and knowledge and plan on continuing to do so in the future.

I have done many different projects including custom web sites, graphics, content management systems and application programming. I am also very knowledgeable on search engine optimization, accessibility auditing, accessibility training, internet consulting and general advice giving.
